ERP Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

Coordinate the planning and execution of Accounting, Finance, Budget and Planning-related modules and workstreams for ERP project activities, deliverables, and timelines
Work closely with Accounting and Finance subject matter experts (SMEs) to define and document requirements for Accounting, Payroll, Finance, Budget and Planning modules including general accounting, grants accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, strategic sourcing, procurement, expense and virtual card programs, and similar modules
Support system configuration, business process mapping, and validation in coordination with project and vendor teams
Assist in the development and execution of test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Facilitate training sessions, create instructional materials, and provide support to end users
Track project status, identify risks or delays in Accounting and Finance workstreams, and escalate issues as needed
Contribute to data migration, cleansing, and validation activities related to accounting records
Participate in change management planning and execution to support staff adoption and minimize disruption
Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement feedback to Accounting, Finance and IT stakeholders

Required

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting or finance in a large organization, public sector preferred
Bachelor's degree required
Knowledge of Accounting and Finance functional areas including organizational accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, procurement, strategic sourcing, etc
Familiarity with ERP systems (such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, UKG, or similar)
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting project needs
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar)

Preferred

Project coordination or systems implementation experience preferred
Preferred field of study in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
