Responsibilities
You will be responsible for making technology choices and establishing good practices across multiple projects
You will be bringing experience in the following and expected to:
Building performant, secure, tested web applications
Developing with an emphasis on automation and security
Willingness to own a technical problem end-to-end
A habit of self-directed learning of new technologies
The ability to work well with a team
The ability to communicate clearly
Qualification
Required
At least 4 years' of progressively responsible web development experience
Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and the web platform (concepts like caching, authentication, and CSP for example)
Ability to play multiple roles such as web designer, UX designer, and engineer
Knowledge of multiple web application architectures and ability to choose a correct one for the requirements
Experience using version control systems (Git) in a team environment, including branching strategies and resolving merge conflicts
Working knowledge of Docker and containerized application workflows
Willingness to learn and expand skill set, including other technologies such as Python and AWS
Comfortable working with some ambiguity and able to self-direct work
Experience with a 3D Geospatial library such as CesiumJS
Eligibility: The position is only open to US Citizens and ability to obtain a security clearance
