Responsibilities

Support Planning and Development Services with a data cleanup project focused on increasing compliance with payment of past-due parking tickets
Data entry, analysis, and creating customized dashboards
Complete a specific deliverable by the end of the semester
Observe and contribute to other Planning and Development Services projects, aligned with their academic background and skill level

Qualification

MS Office proficiencyData analysisData entryCommunicationIndependent work

Required

Undergraduate or Graduate student (degree-seeking) enrolled in an Idaho college or university
Proficiency in MS Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with general guidelines under minimal supervision
Applicants must be able to pass: City of Boise background check processes which includes a criminal history check and reference checks in accordance with the City of Boise Hiring Process Regulation

Preferred

An understanding of databases is a preferred skill
Experience with GIS and Power BI is not necessary
Students in the Urban Studies program are encouraged to apply
