Responsibilities
Combination of IBM Cloud and Azure cloud architecture experience
Proficiency in virtual servers, networking, and storage solutions within IBM Cloud. Understanding cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), deployment models
Designing architectures that span on-premise and public cloud environments
Implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code
Understanding regulatory compliance, auditing. Managing firewalls, virtual private clouds (VPC), and network security groups. Working with databases, analytics tools, and data migration services
Knowledge of redundancy (high availability), backup strategies (snapshot, continuous data protection/CDP), and geo-replication
Proficiency in automation tools for failover, virtualization for rapid recovery
Experience in running disaster simulation, testing backups, and refining plans based on results
Work involves Code Modernization from IBM (IBM RPG, Cobol) to Azure Tech Stack
