Responsibilities
Lead automotive and commercial site development projects from concept through construction
Maintain full accountability for quality, budget, and project schedules
Prepare, delegate, and oversee plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Coordinate with the California-based engineering team and external partners
Serve as the technical expert ensuring compliance with Texas regulations and permitting requirements
Resolve complex site development and engineering challenges
Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and permitting specialists
Act as the primary representative and face of the company in Houston
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
Communicate project challenges proactively and present effective solutions
Support business development efforts and expand the local client network
Strengthen long-term partnerships and contribute to market growth in Texas
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas (or ability to obtain quickly)
Minimum 6+ years of civil engineering experience
At least 3+ years of project management experience in site/land development
Strong knowledge of local site development regulations and permitting processes
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Proven project management and leadership experience
Excellent client management and communication skills
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
High level of professionalism, ethics, and commitment to quality
Must be authorized to work in the United States
