Responsibilities
Serves as the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Intelligence (BI) Development Lead for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), directing the planning, development, administration and implementation of BI development activities mandated by legislation, regulations and the Secretary
Develops standards for the State of Illinois solution for the ERP Programs design/construction of highly complex business intelligence solutions with SAP Business Objects BI Suite, SAP NetWeaver BW, SAP HANA, and other platforms
Identifies and defines areas of the ERP Program requiring study and researches and recommends alternative method of resolution to ensure SAP business intelligence development processes and configurations are properly documented
Supervises contractual staff
Serves as an agency spokesperson on matters associated with the Business Intelligence Development of the ERP Program
Advises ERP Program Director and Program Managers regarding program development, fiscal status and other related matters
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Qualification
Required
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with coursework in management information systems, data processing, telecommunication, or directly related information technology fields
Requires prior experience equivalent to four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in management information systems, data processing, telecommunication, or directly related information technology fields in a public or business organization
Requires three (3) years of professional experience supervising or leading a team of IT professionals in a large and complex IT organization
