Responsibilities

Learn about and contribute to the development of our WDM products
Other tasks may include: System Testing, Automated Test Development, Software Development, Hardware Design or FPGA Verification
Independently learn about technologies that go into Adtran's products
Present accomplishments and internship take-aways
Work independently on the assigned design activities with minimal supervision
Work efficiently within an Agile development team

Required

Pursuing BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related

Preferred

Experience with programming and Python scripting
Ability and eagerness to learn quickly with minimal supervision
Ability to learn new skills and adapt to the fast-changing pace of the telecom industry
Drive to find solutions to complex problems
Works well with others in a team environment
Professional written and oral communication skills
