Responsibilities
Interns assigned to Human Resources will have the opportunity to work with a specific team within the function to understand the importance of HR’s strategy to attain, develop, grow, and retain the most talented workforce
During the internship you will support Talent Acquisition and Talent Management initiatives
Over the course of the 9-week program, there will be opportunities for cross-functional engagement in other Human Resources disciplines too, if interested
All employees and business units, as first line of defense, are expected to proactively help identify, assess, manage, and report risks within their domain of work
To enhance a healthy risk culture and support our growth for good pillar, employees will maintain vigilance in safeguarding our operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates
The Risk team serves as the second line of defense by providing risk oversight and credible challenge whereas the Audit team serves as the third line of defense by providing risk assurance
Retaining and developing top talent is essential to the success of our credit union
As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in attracting and recruiting high-performing individuals, while also supporting programs and initiatives designed to develop and retain talent
These include the Internship Program, Management Development Program, Performance Management processes, and Succession Planning strategies
Through this work, you’ll learn how we build a strong talent pipeline and create opportunities for growth across the organization

Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree at an accredited college/university
Rising college juniors, seniors, graduate students, or thrive scholars
Strong written and communication skills
Flexibility to work with multi-disciplined teams
Strong use of Microsoft Office tools
Preferred
GPA of 3.0+ preferred
Participation in college organizations and the community
