Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders across multiple functions and locations to design and implement methodologies, dashboards and presentations
Provide quantitative support and market understanding to our partners throughout the organization
Serve as an analytics expert for partners, using numbers to help them make better decisions
Weave stories with meaningful insight from data, making critical recommendations for your fellow Googlers in engineering and product management
Use your investigative and statistical toolkit to tally up the numbers and communicate your findings to a team leader
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
5 years of work experience with analysis applications (extracting insights, performing statistical analysis, or solving business problems), and coding (Python, R, SQL) (or 2 years work experience with a Master's degree)
Preferred
Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
5 years of work experience with analysis applications (e.g., extracting insights, performing statistical analysis, or solving business problems), and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
Experience in an inter-disciplinary/cross-functional field with an interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends and applied knowledge of measurement, statistics and program evaluation
Experience working autonomously, acting as a product owner to deliver results for global teams
Ability to translate analysis results into business recommendations with excellent communication skills
