Compliance Specialist I - III - Contractor

Responsibilities
Conducted client audits, identified compliance gaps, and provided tailored solutions for regulatory adherence
Act as a primary advisor for clients, helping them implement best practices and achieve program success
Lead external quality assurance reviews and recommend strategic improvements
Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams and external partners
Assist in risk mitigation strategies to safeguard program integrity
Qualification
Required
5+ years in housing compliance, including at least 2 years in a client-facing role
Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Urban Planning, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong attention to detail with exceptional accuracy in audits and compliance reviews
Expertise in interpreting and applying HUD regulations to real-world scenarios
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and provide training on compliance best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and advisory services to clients and stakeholders
