Responsibilities
Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery
Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups
Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines
Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies
Qualification
Required
High school education or GED required
A&P License required
Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required
A minimum of 2 year's experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance
Preferred
5 years experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance
