Deal Strategy Intern - Summer 2026

The Deal Strategy Intern will work directly with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate processing of quotes and opportunities in the CRM and billing system.

Responsibilities
Act as a primary point of contact for the sales team in the "quote-to-billing" process, ensuring accuracy and correctness in all transactions
Work closely with the Deal Strategy and Audit teams to ensure compliance with published sales Rules of Engagement, compensation plans, and finance principles
Review and approve quotes and contracts for accuracy and completeness within Salesforce (CRM)
Develop a broad understanding of Lucid’s business rules and licensing models to help maintain and update contract data
Provide suggestions on process improvements to current order workflows or audit reports to improve the sales representative experience, reduce error rates, and increase revenue retention
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Accounting, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations to resolve discrepancies and ensure consistency in finance metrics
Drive additional research and provide context on assigned tasks or complex deal structures to help guide solutions for the broader Deal Strategy team

Qualification
Required
High level of precision and a demonstrated ability to process complex data accurately and efficiently
Ability to understand and follow defined process requirements and troubleshoot root causes rather than just symptoms
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with internal stakeholders across different departments
Excellent work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to adapt to evolving processes in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve shared team objectives
Preferred
0-1 years CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
High energy and track record of excellence
Innovative, highly motivated, and success-driven approach to work activities
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to work well with internal customers and stakeholders (especially sales, accounting and business operations orgs)
Passion for working with emerging technologies and an ability to understand new technical concepts
