Sales Account Manager Life Sciences
London Approach is seeking a high-performing Account Manager to expand business in the Life Sciences manufacturing market in the Mid-Atlantic region. This role involves selling consultative process automation and industrial software solutions to regulated manufacturing environments while building long-term relationships with technical decision-makers.

Responsibilities
Own and expand a set of assigned pharma/biotech manufacturing accounts through consultative selling
Drive new revenue by uncovering CapEx and OpEx funded initiatives (plant upgrades, modernization, compliance, digital transformation)
Position and sell solutions tied to process automation, controls platforms, industrial software, and services
Build and maintain strong relationships with Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing, and IT/OT leaders
Develop territory strategy and maintain an active pipeline with accurate forecasting
Coordinate internal technical teams to support discovery, solution shaping, and customer presentations
Stay current on market trends in life sciences manufacturing, automation modernization, and industrial digitalization
Qualification
Required
5+ years of life sciences process automation, process controls, or manufacturing IT/software experience
Familiarity with bioreactor environments and regulated production operations
Proven success selling into technical stakeholders (Automation, Engineering, Manufacturing, Plant leadership)
Strong ability to uncover complex opportunities and execute long-cycle enterprise sales
Preferred
OEMs / major automation platforms: Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Honeywell, etc
Industrial software channel/reseller ecosystems such as Ignition or Wonderware
Systems integrators supporting life sciences manufacturing (automation/controls/digital plant work)
