Manager, Quality Assurance
The Arc of Essex County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and supporting their families. The Manager of Quality Assurance plays a key role in overseeing quality assurance activities, ensuring adherence to agency policies and regulatory standards, and supporting consumer-related investigations.

Responsibilities
Manage assigned quality assurance inspection activities according to the annual schedule and agency policies
Collect and distribute trend report data and quality management plan metrics
Conduct consumer‑related investigations, including gathering statements, obtaining relevant documentation, and compiling summaries and recommendations
Provide backup support for the Incident Reporting System
Create and distribute Quality Assurance communications, including emails and newsletters
Deliver agency training sessions as assigned
Participate in ongoing meetings to identify and address potential issues or barriers
Serve on committees related to Quality Management
Provide updated information on procedures and processes to ensure relevance and accuracy
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree preferred with minimum one year of experience with DDD and DHS standards
Strong computer proficiency, including data analysis, data input, and configuring reports
Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft products and web‑based systems
Excellent communication skills, including responding to inquiries, writing reports that follow prescribed style and format
Strong reasoning and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to effectively present information to management, employees, and public groups
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
