Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation
Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries and financial reporting
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely posting
Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records
Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering data and preparing reports
Maintain organized financial files and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Assist with audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial information as needed
Perform additional accounting duties and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time‑management skills
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
