Responsibilities

Partner closely with the President, executive leadership team, and key advisors to develop, execute, and deliver the Company’s strategic plan while guiding enterprise-wide initiatives and continuous improvement
Lead and contribute to quarterly and annual planning with accountability for revenue growth, EBITDA performance, and long-term enterprise value
Drive profitable top-line growth through the development and execution of cohesive, scalable sales and marketing strategies, including a unified enterprise sales approach that supports consistent execution and long-term growth across multiple channels and customer segments
Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Company’s sales structure—including territory design, coverage models, organizational alignment, and partner strategies—while maintaining direct, hands-on engagement with sales leaders and teams as a coach and strategic contributor
Establish and evolve sales performance frameworks—including metrics, forecasting, pricing, incentive programs, and recognition—to drive accountability and growth across internal sales teams and rep agency partners
Champion the use of data, analytics, CRM platforms, and modern sales enablement tools to inform decision-making, improve forecasting accuracy, and drive sales effectiveness across all channels
Lead resolution of complex, high-impact customer or channel issues requiring executive judgment and relationship stewardship
Provide executive oversight and partnership with the Director of Pricing & Quotations to ensure pricing strategies support profitability and market responsiveness
Provide executive oversight of independent sales representative agency partnerships, ensuring alignment with brand standards, performance expectations, and market strategy
Maintain a strong external presence across key industry markets and events, with executive-level leadership involvement in major trade shows and showroom activations
Build and sustain senior-level relationships with key channel partners, customers, and industry stakeholders to strengthen market position and support long-term growth
Act as a visible brand ambassador at key industry events, markets, and customer engagements, reinforcing the Company’s values, positioning, and customer commitment
Provide executive leadership and accountability for the Company’s Customer Care and Customer Experience functions, ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all sales channels and touchpoints
Set strategic direction for customer experience standards, service models, and performance expectations in alignment with the Company’s brand promise and growth objectives
Partner with sales, marketing, and operations leaders to ensure seamless coordination across the customer lifecycle, from pre-sale engagement through post-sale support
Use customer insights, feedback, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, strengthen customer relationships, and support retention and long-term loyalty
Lead and develop customer care leadership to ensure strong execution, talent development, and alignment with enterprise priorities
Develop and execute the Company’s integrated go-to-market strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Set strategic direction and executive oversight for market segmentation and go-to-market priorities to ensure focused investment, brand consistency, and effective use of marketing resources
Oversee multi-channel marketing initiatives designed to drive awareness, education, demand generation, and lead follow-up
Ensure marketing programs are measurable, results-oriented, and aligned with sales objectives and customer needs
Provide market- and customer-driven input to Product Development by synthesizing insights from sales leaders, sales teams, and channel partners to inform product strategy and support successful product launches
Build, develop, and lead a high-performing sales and marketing leadership team
Set and model high standards for leadership effectiveness, accountability, and professional conduct
Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, continuous improvement, and customer focus
Coach and develop leaders to strengthen talent depth, succession readiness, and organizational capability
Ability to travel up to 20% (approximately) to support customer engagement, trade shows, industry events, and field leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
Minimum 10 years of progressive sales and/or marketing leadership experience, with significant experience at senior executive level
Industry experience in lighting, furnishings, home décor, building products, or closely related categories required
Proven track record of driving revenue growth, profitability, and enterprise value in a complex, multi-channel, indirect sales environment
Demonstrated experience leading and developing senior sales and marketing leaders
Experience working with independent sales representative agencies and channel partners required
Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into disciplined execution
Demonstrated relationship management skills; ability to build alignment across functions and lead through influence at the executive level
Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements, aligning customer relationships, brand positioning, and profitability
Demonstrated ability to present strategies, performance insights, and recommendations in a clear, compelling manner to executive leadership, board of advisors, and key stakeholders
High degree of integrity, sound judgment, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters
Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment with competing priorities
Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms, data analytics, and modern sales enablement tools
