Account Executive - Blockchain Futurist Conference
Emerald is a leading producer of B2B trade shows and conferences, and they are seeking an Account Executive to support the Blockchain Futurist Conference and its related events. This role is responsible for customer retention and new business growth through selling sponsorships and exhibition space while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
Generate and seek new business opportunities and expanded sales opportunities with existing customers through customer intelligence, market research, and industry engagement
Sell across multiple products and revenue streams including sponsorships, exhibition space, activations, and digital offerings, meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets
Prospect and develop new business leads through outbound outreach, cold calling, networking, and attendance at industry-related events
Adopt team sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key customer demographics based on feedback and performance data
Partner with the Sales Manager to execute sales strategies for assigned accounts and territories, including client touchpoints, sales presentations, and customized packages
Effectively negotiate contracts and proactively manage customer objections
Collaborate with Sales Manager and internal teams on key accounts, floor placement, and sponsorship execution
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, activity tracking, and customer records within Salesforce
Conduct ongoing market research to understand client needs and position Blockchain Futurist as a one-stop solution for brand exposure, lead generation, and community engagement
Maintain strong industry credibility through visible participation in Blockchain, Web3, and technology events and communities
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
Qualification
Required
2–3 years of sales experience; experience in event, sponsorship, or B2B media sales strongly preferred
Ability to understand client business objectives and recommend appropriate marketing and event solutions
Proven negotiation skills with the ability to manage objections and close deals
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining strong time-management skills
Experience using CRM or sales database tools; Salesforce experience strongly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Team-focused, collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly with internal teams and external partners
Motivation to learn and develop expertise in blockchain, crypto, Web3, AI, and emerging technology sectors
