Paralegal

LHH is a well-established law firm in Chicago seeking experienced Paralegals in Trust & Estate, Real Estate, and Corporate law to join their growing team. These roles will support sophisticated legal matters in a collaborative environment with a hybrid work schedule.

Human Resources

Responsibilities

Prepare estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney)
Assist with probate and trust administration filings
Coordinate asset transfers and maintain estate records
Communicate with clients, courts, and third parties
Support commercial and residential real estate transactions
Draft and review closing documents, leases, and agreements
Coordinate due diligence and closings
Manage transaction timelines and filings
Assist with entity formation, governance, and maintenance
Prepare corporate documents, resolutions, and filings
Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
Maintain corporate records and compliance calendars

Required

3+ years of paralegal experience in Trust & Estate, Real Estate, and/or Corporate law
Strong knowledge of legal documentation, filing requirements, and transactional processes
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Paralegal certificate preferred (not required)
