Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using DBT on Snowflake
Develop data ingestion and transformation workflows to move data from PostgreSQL to Snowflake
Leverage Python and PySpark for data processing, transformation, and optimization
Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data pipelines
Optimize data workflows for efficiency, scalability, and cost in AWS environments
Troubleshoot and support data pipeline issues in production environments
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
Strong hands‑on experience with DBT, Snowflake, Python, and PySpark
Experience building and supporting cloud‑based data pipelines, preferably on AWS
Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and data warehousing best practices
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred
Remote (US) okay, with preference for candidates able to work onsite 2–3 days per week in Baltimore, Charlotte, Dallas, New York, or Evansville
