Responsibilities

Administer SQL Server databases including installation, upgrades, patching, backup/recovery, and security

Manage Always On High Availability Groups and clustered environments

Perform database performance tuning, capacity planning, and space management

Support Production, Test, and Development environments

Handle migrations, schema changes, and database documentation

Automate jobs and batch data loads using SQL and scripting

Collaborate with application teams for troubleshooting and optimization

Qualification

Required

6+ years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience

Strong expertise in backup/recovery, performance tuning, T-SQL, and scripting

4+ years with Always On HA, migrations, and enterprise database environments

Experience with Microsoft OS, clustered SQL environments, and database security

Strong communication and documentation skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 7 years of relevant experience

Preferred

Knowledge of Cohesity backup and cloud technologies is a plus
