Human Resources Partner (S)

SSM Health is seeking an experienced and collaborative HR Partner to support leaders and team members across the organization. The role focuses on delivering strategic HR solutions that enhance engagement and foster a supportive culture aligned with operational goals.

Responsibilities

Partners with business unit leaders to develop and deliver strategic Human Resource solutions to achieve business unit goals
Partners with business unit leaders to align Human Resources practices with business strategy and identify potential barriers to goal attainment
Provides counsel and support to leaders and/or employees in the administration of Human Resources policies and procedures. May provide resolution of employee relations and performance issues
Partners with business unit leaders in the process of performance management, associate engagement survey interpretation and action planning, patient satisfaction strategies, and training and development needs to develop a culture that supports the achievement of objectives
Uses knowledge of Human Resources, legal, and regulatory requirements in conjunction with market best practices to ensure business unit compliance and competitiveness
Collects and analyzes HR data, developing recommendations and action plans to address identified issues
Supports the implementation of HR programs, communications, and initiatives
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience or education
Minimum of three years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc
Frequent keyboard use/data entry
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs
Rare climbing

Preferred

Experience supporting employee relations and/or partnering with leaders to navigate HR processes
Experience supporting union environments
