Customer Technical Program Manager

They are seeking a Customer Technical Program Manager to lead strategic programs for major US broadband operators, driving the full lifecycle of hardware and software initiatives. This role requires strong technical acumen and program management skills to ensure alignment and effective communication across all phases of delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead high-visibility customer programs, ensuring scope, schedules, and deliverables are clearly defined and consistently met
Manage customer requirement documents for both hardware and software, ensuring accuracy and cross-team alignment
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering feasibility, development, testing, deployment, and commercial acceptance
Coordinate with chipset manufacturers, software partners, and third-party labs to resolve issues, manage dependencies, and influence feature roadmaps
Deliver clear and compelling customer-facing materials, including product roadmaps, technical proposals, status reporting, and executive updates
Prioritize critical issues and support tickets to maintain program momentum and meet operator expectations
Monitor product performance and KPIs in the field, driving continuous improvement initiatives with Product and Engineering
Partner with Sales to support customer engagement, expectation management, and competitive RFP responses
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree advantageous
5+ years of experience in Engineering, Program Management, or Product Management within the telecom, broadband, networking, or related technology sectors
Demonstrated success in facing roles requiring cross-functional coordination and structured execution
Strong understanding of broadband access technologies and customer-premises equipment ecosystems
Solid understanding of broadband and networking technologies: IP, VoIP, DOCSIS, Fiber/PON, 5G, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, TR-069, Mesh, IoT, cloud-based architectures, and AI-enabled solutions
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and adapt to evolving hardware and software capabilities
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to both engineering teams and executive audiences
Comfortable working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones
Highly organized, able to manage multiple concurrent programs with autonomy and attention to detail
Proficient in program management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, MS Project, MS Teams, and Microsoft Office
Preferred
Experience supporting Cable, Fiber, or Fixed Wireless operators-and familiarity with DOCSIS, PON, 5G, Wi-Fi, RDK, prpl, or AI-driven broadband solutions is strongly preferred
