Responsibilities
Own end-to-end fund accounting: journal entries, financial statement creation, trial balance reconciliation, and performance reporting for multiple funds and co-investments
Deliver fund financials supporting investment activity and regulatory requirements
Proactively anticipate and solve accounting issues
Collaborate closely with internal finance, Controller, and CFO
Qualification
Required
2 - 5 years of hands-on fund accounting or fund administration experience (private equity/hedge fund/alternative asset focus) or experience in public accounting audited PE firms
Demonstrated ability to prepare and explain full-cycle financial statements and journal entries (not just review)
Advanced understanding of debits, credits, and core accounting principles in a fund/PE environment
