Responsibilities
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for Trail Ridge Power and its related entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepaids, depreciation, and intercompany eliminations
Manage entity-level and consolidated financial statements, including lender-required consolidations
Own ERP system administration and optimization, including configuration, workflows, reporting, and internal controls (Sage Intacct)
Serve as the accounting lead for ERP migration or reimplementation initiatives
Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely investigation and resolution of discrepancies
Act as an accounting liaison for external auditors, lenders, and other third-party stakeholders
Develop, maintain, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support a scaling organization
Collaborate with FP&A, Asset Management, and senior leadership on financial reporting, variance analysis, and ad hoc requests
Provide oversight, guidance, and review of work prepared by GL and Staff Accountants
Support special projects and complete other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a manager or lead role
Demonstrated experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations
Hands-on ERP experience desirable (Sage Intacct)
Experience supporting external audits and lender or investor reporting
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills
Comfort designing, implementing, and refining existing accounting processes and internal controls in a growing organization
Preferred
CPA preferred
Public accounting experience at a Top 10 firm strongly preferred
Background in renewable energy, energy infrastructure, construction, or project-based industries is desirable
