Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and government contracting standards
Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions, including intercompany billings, eliminations, and balance sheet reconciliations
Maintain accurate general ledger activity, including journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and account reconciliations
Support project and cost accounting activities within Deltek Costpoint, ensuring proper cost allocation and compliance with contract requirements
Assist with indirect rate calculations, monitoring, and analysis
Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
Collaborate with contracts, project managers, and finance leadership to resolve accounting issues and support financial analysis
Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and responses to auditor requests
Ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, and other applicable government regulations
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support accounting system enhancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
4+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a government contracting environment
Strong working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint
Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations
Solid understanding of GAAP and government contracting regulations (FAR, CAS)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
