Rack Room Shoes is a family footwear retailer offering a wide selection of quality shoes. They are seeking a Systems Analyst to develop and document new applications and processes, as well as provide support for existing systems across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Write code, debug, and test for accuracy

Perform discovery and analysis

Communicate with users to gain understanding of their business needs to design solutions

Create and maintain system and/or process documentation

Coordinate application and systems implementation with Database Administrators, Quality Assurance, other Information Systems personnel, and end users

Provide organizational support

Ensure standardization

Peer training as applicable

Qualification

Oracle FormsReports 12cPL/SQLAPEX 21+PythonRelational database theoryOracle database 11g+API’sRESTEDI X12JAVAWeb developmentRetail backgroundCommunication

Required

Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent business experience in related field

Three years of experience with Oracle Forms and Reports 12c required

Five years of PL/SQL experience is required

Two years of APEX (version 21 or higher) experience

Ability to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot custom Oracle forms, reports, and PL/SQL scripts

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented, demanding, multi-priority environment, both independently and as part of a team

Excellent communications with users at any level a must

Working knowledge of relational database theory and operation

Working knowledge of Oracle database 11g or higher, API's, REST

Preferred

JAVA and web development experience preferred

One year of Python experience is helpful

EDI X12 experience will be helpful

Retail background with focus on Merchandising, Supply Chain, POS (Aptos), Pricing/Promotions systems will be very helpful
