This role will focus on stabilizing financial operations, supporting manufacturing cost controls, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on financial strategy and performance
Assess current financial operations and implement improvements quickly
Support business confirmation initiatives, pricing strategy, and margin improvement
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in NetSuite
Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and accurate reporting
Review and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
Oversee standard costing, inventory valuation, WIP, and variance analysis
Partner with operations on cost reduction, efficiency, and throughput initiatives
Ensure accurate BOMs, routings, and cost rollups in NetSuite
Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity
Optimize working capital (AR, AP, inventory turns)
Support lender, investor, or board reporting as needed
Identify gaps in reporting, controls, or workflows and implement fixes
Support or lead process documentation and team training
Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team
Provide stability and structure during transition
Assist with hiring, onboarding, or handoff to permanent CFO if required
Qualification
Required
Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong experience with large ERP systems
Deep understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and inventory
Ability to quickly assess issues and execute solutions
Strong communication skills with executives, board members, and auditors
Preferred
Experience in interim, turnaround, or transitional leadership roles
