Responsibilities
Report discharges in a timely manner to ensure clients have scripts, meds, etc
Identify and assume responsibility for high risk clients
On call as needed, cover shifts as needed, prioritizing and organizing the shift, assist in scheduling
Involved in chart monitor-identify and carry out action plans
Review MAR to ensure completeness
Review detox protocols and length of stay
Assist in responding to client grievances and incident reports
Assist Nurse Manager in interviewing and the disciplinary process
Direct report to Nurse Manager
Providing sample meds, coordinate with pharmacy to ensure client needs are being met in a cost-effective manner
Assist in prior authorization
Ensure labs are being addressed, review and sign lab-work, obtain and transcribing of physician orders
Ensure HCG results are obtained before starting any meds
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Current CPR/BLS, AED and First Aid required
Preferred
One year of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting preferred
Background in Substance Use Treatment and Co-occurring Disorders preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
