This role is critical in managing client accounts, ensuring timely collection of receivables, and supporting partners and clients across the US region.

Responsibilities

Manage a personal portfolio of client accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables
Partner closely with billing attorneys and practice groups to execute proactive follow-ups and identify payment issues
Communicate professionally with clients regarding payment status, invoice inquiries, and account reconciliations
Track, monitor, and report on collection progress, aging, and expected cash receipts
Prepare client analyses, reconciliations, and realization schedules to aid in the collection of invoices
Identify collection risks early and escalate as appropriate to the Head of Revenue
Support month-end cash forecasting and collection initiatives, including year-end campaigns
Maintain accurate records in the firm’s financial systems (Aderant/Elite/3E or similar software)
Assist with process improvements to strengthen the firm’s collections platforms

Required

Legal experience (Must have)
Strong Excel skills (Must have)
4+ years of collections experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
Strong understanding of billing, receivables, and cash application workflows
Excellent communication, diplomacy, and client service skills
Ability to build relationships with attorneys, clients, and cross-functional teams
High attention to detail, with strong Excel and financial systems skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred

Proficiency in Aderant or 3E (Highly preferred)
