The Patient Financial Services Representative (PFSR) is the first point of contact for patients, responsible for gathering and verifying demographic, financial, and insurance eligibility information.

Responsibilities

Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification/authorization as necessary
Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered with timeliness and accuracy
Determines and accepts required payments, including but not limited to co-pays and deductibles
Communicates with physician's and their staff, nursing unit staff, and/or other appropriate personnel to exchange necessary information

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
