Retail Market Director
Texa-Rica is seeking a Retail Market Director to join the Hecho Trading team, a modern sales and marketing platform for innovative CPG brands. The role focuses on expanding retail presence through outbound prospecting and relationship building, while driving retail growth and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities
Identify and source retailers that align with category, region, and brand fit
Conduct consistent and thoughtful outbound outreach through email, phone, and virtual meetings
Introduce product lines using clear, simple materials that make retailer decision-making easy
Build and maintain a clean, organized pipeline with precise tracking of outreach, responses, and next steps
Follow established outreach cadences to maximize retailer engagement and conversion
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly opportunity targets
Create new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing retail accounts
Develop retailer lists, personalized outreach strategies, and tailored follow-up sequences
Improve messaging, talk tracks, and outbound approaches to achieve repeatable success
Share insights from retailer conversations to refine sales playbooks and brand positioning
Help shape the systems and processes that future team members will use as we scale
Partner with brand management and marketing to refine positioning and retailer targeting
Provide category feedback and field insights to influence brand strategy and product direction
Work closely with leadership in a lean, highly communicative environment focused on efficiency and clarity
Join virtual and in-person retail meetings and events to expand visibility and build relationships
Serve as a trusted partner to retailers, communicating clearly, professionally, and with strong follow-through
Qualification
Required
Experience in sales, business development, or outbound prospecting (CPG or marketplace experience is a plus)
Highly organized with excellent pipeline management skills
Strong written and verbal communication, clear, concise, and professional
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, startup-style environment
Self-directed, proactive, and solutions-oriented
Familiarity with modern sales tools (CRM, outreach automation, virtual meeting platforms)
Ability to manage multiple categories and accounts with precision and adaptability
