Responsibilities
Perform duties intended to assure customer satisfaction and accuracy of customer accounts
Mainly assisting our customers to have a clear understanding of their accounts, by explaining billing inquiries, providing extensions, processing payments and/or making payment arrangements in accordance with Company policy, as well as assisting customers during weather events
Perform other duties which may be requested by authorized personnel
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent with one (1) year of experience in a similar position required
Basic computer skills and knowledge of other general office equipment are required
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Problem solving skills
Willingness to learn new skills and ability to adjust to changes quickly
Must pass a Customer Service Representative test, including keyboarding, computer fluency and basic mathematics
Must work extended business hours, selected holidays and overtime as required
Must successfully complete the AES Indiana Customer Service Training program
Additional consideration will be given to any experience or training contributing to the applicant's ability to perform the job
