Responsibilities

Develop and execute asset management strategies that align with organizational goals, providing guidance to property management teams to achieve optimal results
Analyze financial reports and budgets to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost efficiencies, preparing detailed investment recommendations for new projects
Oversee property performance, ensuring high occupancy levels and tenant satisfaction through regular inspections and performance evaluations
Ensure adherence to all regulations and implement strategies to minimize potential liabilities, keeping abreast of market trends impacting the portfolio
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, representing the organization at industry events and forums
Mentor and develop property management teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability through training and performance evaluations
Present comprehensive reports on portfolio performance to senior management, utilizing data analytics for informed decision-making

Required

9+ years of experience in affordable housing real estate with a focus on multifamily asset management
5+ years direct management experience overseeing asset managers
Knowledge of affordable housing finance and regulated programs, including LIHTC, HUD, and others
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial modeling, and reporting across complex portfolios
Proven ability to execute on strategic projects (understanding the business case, aligning stakeholders, and driving outcomes tied to KPIs)
Experience reporting and presenting to executive leadership and ownership
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
