Responsibilities
Create and maintain tooling and dashboards to monitor fleet status and performance, including failure rates of critical systems such as propulsion, brakes, steering, and low voltage
Monitor fleet data to identify trends, emerging issues, and areas for improvement
Support and drive triage of incoming fleet failures
Lead root-cause investigations to identify underlying issues and define next steps
Work with vehicle teams and component suppliers to develop improvement options
Support development and deployment of hardware or software fixes and mitigations
Monitor effectiveness of deployed fixes and iterate as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or similar), or equivalent practical experience in a technical support or engineering environment
Experience with data analysis and visualization, including creating plots or dashboards from log data using tools such as Python (pandas/matplotlib), Tableau, or Jira dashboards
Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in failure triage and root-cause investigations
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documenting technical findings in tickets and reports
Preferred
Hands-on experience with vehicle ECUs (e.g., braking, steering, thermal, low voltage, batteries, gateways) or other complex electromechanical systems
Experience building custom tooling or dashboards using Python, SQL, or similar technologies to visualize fleet health
Familiarity with deployment processes for software or hardware fixes in production environments
