Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and trial
Perform general administrative duties including coordination of prints, scans, and duplicating projects
Coordinate New Matter intake process and initiate conflicts checks
Perform other related duties, special projects, and assignments as required
Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates
Draft and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and subpoenas
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
Organize and maintain case files, documents, and medical records
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts
Prepare deposition and trial exhibits
Billing for time
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two years of experience as a litigation paralegal
Strong knowledge of litigation processes and legal documentation
Proficient in legal research and legal software
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently as well as with others
Preferred
Prior experience managing a busy case load preferred
Paralegal certification or degree in paralegal studies preferred
