Responsibilities
Lead, design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable infrastructure and products
Drive and participate in the design, development, and delivery of AI/ML and agentic solutions for the product
Lead engineering excellence on the commerce platform, focusing on performance, reliability, monitoring, and testing
Define long-term strategy, drive technical direction, and guide the team to execute projects from ambiguous requirements to high-impact deliverables
Collaborate with data science, product management, and other cross-functional leaders to define the technical roadmap for the product
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in software development
5 years of experience with full-stack development across the backend, such as Java, Kotlin, or Python codebases, and front-end experience, including TypeScript or equivalent
5 years of experience testing and launching software products
3 years of experience with software design and architecture
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
8 years of experience building end-user-facing products
3 years of experience in ML design and optimizing ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning)
Experience working with cross-functional leaders including product managers, data scientists, and UX designers across the globe
Excellent technical leadership skills with the ability to define ideas, strategies, and priorities
Excellent technical communication and collaboration skills
