Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end operational definition for the launch of new Fixed Income products in the U.S. with a special focus on trade booking processes, trade settlement, custodian account management, collateral management and collateral exchange, intraday liquidity management, corporate actions processing, etc
Act as a subject matter expert to redesign and optimize currently existing post-trade flows
Perform specialized daily operational tasks that complement project work, in coordination with Spain and Mexico teams
Serve as the key technical liaison between Front Office, Technology, and Global Operations, in the different geographies
Excel knowledge is highly valued as huge amount of information is managed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fixed Income settlement and post-trade management
Expert knowledge of US Infrastructure
FEDWIRE
FICC (Fixed Income Clearing Corporation)
DTC (Depository Trust Company)
Tri-Party Repo operations (e.g., Bony)
Demonstrable experience in systems implementation and new product launch projects
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable operational solutions
Ability to work effectively in a multi-geography environment (NY, Madrid, Mexico)
English (Mandatory)
Employment eligibility to work with BBVA in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions
