Responsibilities
Oversee the local primary engineering discipline and ensure that the interfaces with cross functional teams including System Design, Plant Design, Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering are seamless and compliant to project requirements
Responsible for the coordination, knowledge management, mentoring and assignment of engineering resources
Ensure that the engineering deliverables meet the project requirements and develop engineering budgets and execution plans
Lead and motivate internal teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all engineering activities
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field
At least 8 years of experience in engineering and/or project management in the transmission and distribution industry
Comprehensive knowledge of engineering, project planning, construction, and commissioning for complex substation systems with a proven track record of managing large teams in complex, international, matrix organizations
Knowledge of ANSI and IEC standards is required
Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred
Professional Engineering license or the ability to obtain is preferred
Familiarity with Siemens Energy solutions and experience in international business is a plus
