Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Specialist will manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice review, coding, data entry, and payment processing
Handle a very high volume of invoices (5,000+ per month) while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
Perform analytical review and research to resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will prepare clear, professional written communications, including email correspondence with internal teams and external vendors
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain strong working relationships
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of strong, full-cycle accounts payable experience; Candidates with 5+ years of experience will also be considered
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, functions, and formulas
Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and research skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and people skills; Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Preferred
Salesforce experience is highly preferred but not required
Construction industry experience is a strong plus, including familiarity with construction draws, invoicing processes, and AIA documentation
