Senior Accountant

CFS is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their growing Accounting Team. This role supports the accounting and financial close process while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and requires strong technical accounting skills and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end close process, including booking journal entries
Prepare footnote disclosures for quarterly and annual reports
Assist with analytical reviews each month/quarter
Review / reconcile account balances
Reconcile intercompany account activity, agreeing balances with the foreign subsidiaries
Assist with regulatory and financial reporting
Assist with the development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures
Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned
Coordinate and assist with the external audit
Supports and assists with the internal audit function and ongoing SOX compliance requirements

Required

Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Audit background, ideally Big 4 or similar experience
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent project management skills
High attention to detail, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills are a must
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
3–6 years of experience in public accounting and/or a public company environment (minimum 2 years in a public company)

Preferred

CPA certification OR CPA track is a plus
