Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Prepare financial statements and other reports for internal and external stakeholders
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
Conduct account analysis and reconciliations
Assist with audits, including preparing documentation and supporting external auditors
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Assist in accounts payable and receivable activities
Review and approve employee credit card charges and expense reports
Support integration of new software platforms
Support continuous improvement efforts in the finance department by streamlining processes and enhancing efficiencies
Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Suite
Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Preferred
Previous experience in construction or telecommunications
