New Grad, Entry LevelTop Talent is seeking a detail oriented Yield Accounting Specialist to support production accounting, inventory accuracy, and system integrations across refinery operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining data integrity and supporting reporting, analysis, and cross functional operations.

Responsibilities
Maintain and support yield accounting systems, including enhancements and updates aligned with refinery operations and supply and distribution changes
Manage system interfaces between Microsoft D365, refinery historian data systems, and yield accounting platforms
Prepare weekly and month end production accounting entries, inventory corrections, and product movement journals
Analyze weekly inventory balances and investigate discrepancies
Create and maintain reports and databases to support operational analysis and historical data requests
Serve as a subject matter expert for production accounting within the enterprise system, providing user support and issue resolution
Track and report finished gasoline and diesel blends for EPA reporting
Develop job process documentation and train internal teams on procedures and system updates
Provide coverage for other Yield Accounting team members as needed
Represent Yield Accounting in daily operations and weekly logistics meetings
Maintain ticket inventories at non automated loading racks
Support customers with sales ticket requests and billing calculation questions
Complete month end reporting for tank activity across multiple products
Track inventory at third party terminals and enter receipts and transfer movements
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Ability to understand and learn refinery and production operations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with solid computer and systems aptitude
Advanced Excel proficiency
Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
Proven problem solving skills in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Comfort interacting with all levels of an organization and external partners
Willingness to work irregular hours, extended shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed
