Responsibilities
Install, repair, maintain, and modify mechanical systems including pumps, piping, valves, flanges, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
For Lead: Act as primary mechanical POC, lead JSA's. toolbox talks, and safety briefings. Ensure OSHA and ISO 9001 compliance
Diagnosing and repairing electro- mechanical system on board ships and in power plants
Performing preventative technical maintenance tasks
Fabricating materials to effectively make repairs when the situation calls for it
Thinking on your feet to solve problems in the field, sometimes with limited resources
Working with teammates to accomplish customer and company goals
Qualification
Required
Verifiable mechanical or electrical skills with demonstrable hands-on experience
Strong communication skills and high integrity
A desire to learn about new mechanical systems
Ability to move in and around small spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary
Local and international travel required
