Director of Revenue Cycle
Bleeding and Clotting Disorders Institute is recruiting a full-time Director of Revenue Cycle to provide leadership and strategic direction for efficient revenue cycle management. The role involves overseeing billing department activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing relationships with external partners.

Responsibilities
Provides leadership and strategic direction to drive efficient, effective and accurate revenue cycle management
Develops and operationalizes strategies and processes to continually improve and guide all aspects of the revenue cycle
Serves as a key advisor to the CFO to align strategies with BCDI’s organizational and financial goals while optimizing the revenue cycle
Leads and oversees the activities of the billing department and ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations regarding coding, billing and data management
Supervises and manages the billing, and collections staff in handling payer relations, and addresses complex complaints and issues
Oversees all billing department operations including credentialing, prior authorizations, coding and documentation, claim preparation and submission, denials and appeals, the accounts receivable and collections process, and customer service
Develops and maintains strong relationships with external partners, with a focus on payer network inclusion
Collaborates frequently with the accounting and pharmacy teams, as well as work closely with many other departments within BCDI
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience
Two plus years supervisory experience
Knowledge of medical terminology utilized in medical billing, current office practices and procedures, and advanced math
Ability to elicit and evaluate information, sometimes of a highly personal and sensitive nature
Ability to read, interpret, and apply regulations, policies, and procedures
Preferred
Eight plus years' experience managing the revenue cycle process preferred
