Responsibilities
Process and maintain accounts payable for the dept and ensure vendors are paid in timely manner
Maintain a schedule of contracts to be paid to vendors and ensure that payments are reconciled and paid
Assist in monthly closing and processing journal entries. Prepare variance explanations along with analytics of KPI’s in the department
Provide general financial support and training for financial systems such as Infor, Hyperion, Smart View and Essbase
Develop analytical reports, as requested
Prepare and perform quarterly reports and budget tasks
Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
Perform accruals and maintain Balance sheets of Hospital entities
Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required) Education Specialization: Accounting/Finance
1+ years in Accounting and/or budget preparation experience
