Responsibilities
Design, maintain, and troubleshoot AC/DC systems, transformers, generators, motor controls, and circuit breakers
Interpret and apply schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations and repairs
Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and automation issues in industrial machinery and plant systems
Analyze plant processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement engineering solutions to optimize performance
Develop and execute preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
Partner with cross-functional teams to detect problems, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure all work adheres to company standards, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices for safety and quality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field (Associate degree with equivalent experience may be considered)
3+ years of experience in industrial controls, electrical systems, or automation engineering
Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial automation software (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems and programming logic
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
Preferred
Experience with SCADA systems and industrial networking protocols
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, and other electrical safety standards
Hands-on experience in distribution center or manufacturing environments
