ASSEMBLY OPERATOR I
TE Connectivity is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future. They are seeking an Assembly Operator I to be responsible for component assembly in the Aerospace industry, utilizing tools and work instructions to ensure quality production.

Responsibilities
Inspection of own work using quality standards and work instructions
Conduct pull tests as needed for particular operations
Measure components using calipers, gages, or other measuring devices
Inspect product to print
Complete necessary operational paperwork required to maintain the traceability of product
May troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment
General housekeeping of work area
Follow company and department guidelines, procedures and policies
Follow safety guidelines
Perform all other work-related duties as assigned
Read and perform tasks according to drawings
Qualification
Required
Inspection of own work using quality standards and work instructions
Conduct pull tests as needed for particular operations
Measure components using calipers, gages, or other measuring devices
Inspect product to print
Complete necessary operational paperwork required to maintain the traceability of product
May troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment

Read and perform tasks according to drawings
Must be able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Must be able to remain in stationary position 75% of the time
Must be able to operate machinery
Must be able to move between work zones
Must be proficient and able to understand written instructions in English language
Preferred
HS diploma or GED preferred
Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Basic computer skills preferred
Good communication skills
Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred
Ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties
Experience with using measuring devices (gages, calipers, etc.) preferred
Available to work overtime to support production goals as needed
