3+ years expMolex is currently seeking an Assistant Engineer to join their team in Fremont, CA. The Assistant Engineer will be responsible for conducting liquid crystal device assembly and testing, while working with cross-functional teams to support and improve laboratory operations.

Responsibilities
Perform standardized LC device assembly in a cleanroom environment
Support the development of the LC device assembly process
Conduct LC materials and device testing in accordance with established procedures
Maintain laboratory equipment operational and ensure a clean and organized working environment
Document test procedures, collect experimental data and summarize the test results
Coordinates engineering activities with cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in science or engineering with laboratory experience
Three (3) years or more work experience in a cleanroom environment
Record keeping and data documentation experience
Knowledge of optical and electrical test systems, including optical components, optical alignment, electronic devices, optical fibers, and lasers
Experience supporting optical assembly and testing
Preferred
Understanding of ESD safety and laser protection
Completion of 6S and ISO9001/TL9000 training
Understanding of DOE concept
Verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin
