Responsibilities
Perform CFD simulations of inlets, shock trains, isolators, and combustor flow fields
Model combustion chemistry and flame holding
Conduct conjugate heat transfer analysis for hot structures
Generate aerodynamics loads, drag polars and ramjet performance maps
Provide design guidance for duct geometry and structural integration
Support wind tunnel testing and data correlation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
5+ years experience with supersonic or ramjet CFD
Expertise in ANSYS Fluent, STAR CCM+, or OpenFoam
Strong understanding of turbulence, high-temp chemistry, and multiphases flow
Experience with grid generation, meshing strategies, and automation
Preferred
Experience with reacting flow and particles combustion
Familiarity with scramjet/ramjet testing and data reduction
Knowledge of high-temperature materials interaction and ablation models
