Responsibilities
Analyze customer part requirements to determine fixturing, tooling, grinding wheels, and processes for standard and turnkey projects
Conduct process acceptance and training sessions at both factory and customer sites
Perform machine demonstrations, time studies, feasibility evaluations, and sample part processing to support sales efforts
Provide application support for trade shows and open house events
Assist with prototype machine PLC testing and validation of mechanical and control software functions
Deliver technical phone support to customers, sales teams, and distributors
Stay current with industry advancements through training seminars and courses
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Engineering or completion of a Technical Certification Program preferred
5–7 years of hands-on CNC machine tool experience, with a focus on grinding and turning applications
Prior customer-facing experience is highly desirable
Skilled in G-code and conversational programming
Experience with CAD/CAM CNC programming
Travel: Expect 25–50% travel
